Returns — 30 days from delivery. Full refund within a week of receipt.

Exchanges — 30 days from delivery. Your new item ships right away; you have 14 days to send back the original.

Return Shipping Coverage — $2.98 at checkout covers all return and exchange shipping. Without it, you cover return shipping.

Quality issues — 7 days from delivery to report. We cover the return shipping.

Final sale — No returns or exchanges.

Conditions — Items must be unworn (trying on is fine) and unwashed, with all tags attached.

how exchanges work

Found the right skirt but need a different size or color? Let us know and we'll ship your new item right away. You then have 14 days to send back the original. That's it.

how returns work

Prefer a refund? We'll send it to your original payment method, processed within one week of receiving your item back.

return shipping coverage

Shop with confidence. Add Return Shipping Coverage at checkout for $2.98 and we'll cover return or exchange shipping on eligible items from this order. If you skip it, you can still return or exchange — you'll just cover the shipping yourself.

quality issues

If something arrives with a defect — a broken zipper, a stitching error, anything that shouldn't be there — let us know within 7 days of delivery. We'll cover the return shipping at no cost, no $2.98 fee needed.

what we can't accept

Items must be unworn (trying on is absolutely fine), unwashed, and have all original tags attached. We can't process returns on items that have been worn outside the home, washed, or that arrive with stains, strong odors, or pet hair. These items will be donated and no refund issued.

sale items

Anything marked “final sale” on the product page is not eligible for returns or exchanges. We'll always make this clear before you purchase.

how to start a return or exchange

Email us at hello@thousandgeneration.com with your order number and let us know whether you'd like an exchange or a return. We'll get back to you within one business day with next steps.
